The ENT/Allergy practice at AVH Surgical Associates specializes in the care of the ear, nose and throat. Leading the practice is Dr. Richard Kardell, a board-certified otolaryngologist. He is assisted by Tiffani Witmon, PA-C. Patients are seen in multiple locations: Berlin, Lancaster, Colebrook, and North Conway.

Services include diagnosis and medical/surgical treatment of a wide variety of conditions of the ear, nose, throat, mouth, sinuses, salivary glands, face and neck, including:

Chronic sinus problems
Food allergies
Allergy rhinitis
Allergy testing and management including allergy shots or sublingual drops, when appropriate
Nasal polyps and deviated nasal septum, including endoscopic sinus surgery
Recurrent nosebleeds
Ear infections, including “ear tubes” for chronic infections
Tonsillitis, including tonsil and adenoid surgery
Hoarseness, vocal cord polyps/nodules, and speech/voice disorders
Dizziness, Meniere’s disease, vertigo, and balance problems
Tinnitus
Thyroid nodules and cancer
Hearing loss
Skin lesions of the face, head, and neck–cancerous and cosmetic
Swallowing disorders, such as difficulty or pain when swallowing
Snoring and sleep apnea, including surgical treatment
Fractures and trauma of nose, jaw and facial bones
Cancers and masses (lumps) of the head, neck and oral cavity
Congenital and common pediatric ENT conditions
TMJ syndrome
Laser Therapy / Aesthetics
Treatment of facial wrinkles with Botox^® and Radiesse^®
