Babysitting Course Held

An Androscoggin Valley Hospital Babysitting Course was held Monday, February 23, 2015, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the AVH Lecture Room. Numerous students 11 years of age or older participated in the Course. Topics covered included: the qualities of a great babysitter; following the parent’s/guardian’s guidelines; ages and stages of children - infancy through school age; age appropriate play and supervision; caring for a child needing holding, diapering, dressing and feeding; home and child safety; and how to handle common injuries and emergencies.
