Valley Birthplace at Androscoggin Valley Hospital is home to the largest and most experienced OB/GYN team in the North Country. With over 40 years of combined experience, our three board-certified OB/GYNs and staff of dedicated nurses are here to ensure that every new mom has a safe, comfortable and highly personal experience. That's why we offer private labor/delivery rooms featuring large bathrooms with tubs and showers, gliders, and other comforts of home.  AVH offers room service, too.  Now you can select your meals and have them delivered to your room. Meals are prepared by the highly-trained staff of the AVH Food Services Department, and are known to routinely exceed patient expectations.

Best of all, receiving maternity care at AVH means that you get the quality care you need where you feel most comfortable, right here close to home.
