At Androscoggin Valley Hospital, this is a time of excitement and growth.

AVH is pleased to now have three board-certified OB/GYN practitioners with over 40 years of combined experience.  In addition to assisting growing families through labor/delivery and family planning, they professionally meet the full spectrum of needs of women of all ages.  Our dedicated maternity nurses are also committed to the well-being of expectant and new mothers.

Valley Birthplace, located right here close-to-home at AVH provides a comfortable warm setting with private labor/delivery rooms, large bathrooms with tubs and showers, gliders and many other comforts of home.  

Appointments for any of our providers can be made by calling 752-2300.  Our physicians are available not only in Berlin (at the recently renovated AVH Professional Center), but in Lancaster and Colebrook as well.

With our OB/GYN care, facility renovations, state-of-the-art imaging services, introduction of the New England Heart Institute at Androscoggin Valley Hospital, Hospitalist Program, full-time Neurologist and a wide array of services to care for North Country residents and visitors, it is clear that AVH is leading the way to a healthier future.
