SPECIALTY PRACTICE MANAGER
Plans, conducts, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates both patient-care and administrative activities in the Hospital's specialty physician practice, including, but not limited to, orthopedics, general surgery, Hospitalist Program, obstetrics/gynecology, pain clinic, and urology. Is responsible for assigned specialties, for overall operations, policy, and decision-making processes within the specialty physician practice. Relevant four-year degree or graduate degree. A proven record of successful healthcare management experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Successful administrative and leadership experience in a medical group practice or healthcare organization is preferred.
STAFF PHARMACIST
Provides inpatient and ambulatory clinical pharmacy services. Responsible for intravenous admixtures, parenteral nutrition, CPOE, automated medication dispensing system, committee participation and pharmacy managed closing protocols. Institutional pharmacy experience is preferred. An interest and aptitude for information technology and its application to the clinical and operational aspects of hospital pharmacy practice is required. New Hampshire Pharmacy license required.
MEDICAL/SURGICAL UNIT DIRECTOR – Full-Time/Exempt Position
Directs the activities of the Medical/Surgical Unit, Care Management Department and Medication Administration Clinic. Must have New Hampshire nursing license. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required. Masters degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing a plus. Evidence of skills in leadership, creativity, integrity, initiative and communication. Medical-Surgical experience required. Experience in unit management, principles of supervision and teaching preferred.
HOSPITAL COORDINATOR – Per Diem Position
The Hospital Coordinator functions in an administrative capacity to ensure quality patient care and efficient Hospital operation. Addresses emergencies as they arise and makes decision for immediate action. Coordinates the activities of the patient care areas, providing clinical consultation and assistance as needed. Supervises the activities of nursing personnel, support services, and security. Must be licensed by New Hampshire State Board of Nursing and have BLS and ACLS certification. A minimum of three years of clinical experience required. Experience in unit management, principles of supervision and teaching preferred. Evidence of skills in leadership, creativity, integrity, initiative and communication. Familiarity with computer applications required.
EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
Work only 6 shifts per month (73 24-hour shifts/year) in well-equipped Department with stellar, long-tenured, certified nurses. PACS system with teleradiology support off hours. No need to write holding orders for admissions. ACLS certification required. Neonatal resuscitation certification (and recent experience) preferred. HOSPITALIST
Work one week on, one week off (26 weeks/year, generally 12-hour shifts); more night shifts than day shifts. Cover adult, pediatrics, and newborns. Nights typically include 3 to 5 admissions/consults. Days typically include 2 to 4 admissions/consults plus rounds on 8 to 12 patients. Open to "trade" some shifts for morning rounds-only duties. Part-time opportunity may also be available. No on-call requirements. Medical director opportunity and stipend also available to the right candidate.
